Our History

In the vibrant atmosphere of Mechelen in the eighties, Mark and Jo were known for throwing lively events that lit up the town. Yet, they faced a common challenge: finding quality lighting and sound equipment.

Frustrated by the limitations of available technical suppliers, they decided to tackle the issue themselves. They scraped together funds to purchase speakers, a DJ set, and even borrowed traffic lights from an engineer friend.

Word of their success spread, attracting other event organizers seeking quality equipment. Recognizing an opportunity, Mark and Jo founded Ampli, dedicated to providing top-notch audiovisual gear to Belgium’s event scene.

From that point forward, our dedication has been directed towards assisting others in realizing their events and productions.
